During the Atlas climb, we will be divided into two groups:

The summit group (Trekkers) will attempt the ascent of the imposing Toubkal peak (4167 m), the highest peak in North Africa.

The group (Hikers) will enjoy alternative routes to the local villages at the foot of the mountain, with gentler hikes, authentic experiences and contact with the Berber culture.

Saturday 16 May
MARRAKECHThe Red City Escape – A Day Through Colors & Chaos
Welcome to the “Red City”!
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, we are transferred to our accommodation in the heart of the city.
We begin our journey through the smells, colors and pulse of Morocco, visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, El Badi Palace, the Saadian Tombs and of course the Majorelle Gardens, Yves Saint Laurent’s botanical masterpiece – an oasis of calm and cobalt blue amidst the chaos.When it’s time to eat, we avoid the tourist traps and go where the locals eat — to Mechoui Alley for grilled lamb or to a small shop for authentic Tanjia in a clay pot.

Day 2
Sunday 17 May
IMLILSerenity & Berber Charm in the Heart of the Atlas (Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Base)
Acclimatization Day
After breakfast, we leave behind the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and climb to Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to the Toubkal National Park and the heart of the Berbers.
Here we split into two groups

During the two days of climbing the Atlas, we will split into two groups:
The summit group (Trekkers) will attempt the climb to the imposing Toubkal (4,167m).
The Hikers group will enjoy alternative routes, visits to Berber villages and natural landscapes full of authenticity and color.
The Trekkers team...
We meet our mountain guide and begin the journey to Aroumd (2,000m), a picturesque village with terraces, mules and authentic Moroccan life.
We pass by the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouh, a place of pilgrimage and symbol of strength, and continue to the Toubkal mountain refuge (3,200m), where we spend the night under the starry sky of the Atlas.

The Hikers team...
With our experienced guide we will walk the circular route that passes through five Berber villages surrounding the village of Imlil, offering stunning views, traditional architecture and authentic cultural encounters. We will explore the network of traditional Berber settlements throughout the Imlil Valley, connected by ancient paths, through the magnificent landscapes that make the Imlil Valley famous.
As local Berbers, we will experience genuine cultural exchange and not staged tourist experiences.

Day 3
Monday 18 May
THE BIG DAY!Climbing to the top of Toubkal (4,167m)
The Trekkers Group..
We start before dawn. At first light of day, we begin the climb to the highest peak in North Africa.
At the top, Morocco spreads out before us - the Sahara to the east, the Atlantic to the west, and we find ourselves in the middle of a world of stone, air and light.We descend back to the refuge for lunch and continue the descent to Imlil for an unforgettable evening and celebration of success!
The Hikers Group...
We begin an escape to the Ourika Valley full of images and aromas! We will hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, pass through traditional Berber villages, where time flows slowly and smiles abound, and enjoy lunch by the river, under the shade of plane trees.A day that combines nature, adventure and authentic Moroccan soul - the ideal break from the color and rhythm of Marrakech. ☀️
In the afternoon, the Trekkers return from the mountain and we all become a team again.
Here, a traditional bath (hammam) for deep relaxation after the hike is just what you need! (*optional)

Day 4
Tuesday 19 May
AIT BEN HADDOU & DADES VALLEYThe Old Caravan Road
We will depart early in the morning through the impressive Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m).
In front of us, a landscape that is constantly changing: from lush green valleys to arid gorges, from Berber villages to stone kasbahs.We visit the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO monument and setting for films such as Gladiator, The Mummy and Game of Thrones.
Optional stop at the film studios of Ouarzazate and then we continue towards the Dantes Valley - the "Land of Roses".

Day 5
Wednesday 20 May
TONTRA GORGE & MERZOUGAFrom the canyons to the desert!
After breakfast, we cross the road of 1001 Kasbahs and arrive at the Tondra Gorge, an impressive vertical formation of 300 meters.
Hiking among the rocks and then towards Merzouga, at the gates of the desert.There our camels await us for a unique journey through the Sahara dunes, with a sunset that paints the sky orange and gold.
In the evening, Moroccan dinner, music with Tam Tam drums and endless stars.

Day 6
Thursday 21 May
MERZOUGA → MARRAKECHDawn in the desert!
Sunrise over the dunes, camel ride and breakfast before returning to the Atlas Mountains, with plenty of stops for photos and moments you don't want to end.

Friday 22 May
MARRAKECHAll Day Long
Adventure, civilization, culture, tranquility - Marrakech is not just a city. It is a feeling.
After breakfast, our today's pace will be more relaxed. For those looking for more adrenaline, we can suggest activities around Marrakech. For those who wish to live a more pleasant and slower experience, we can visit a traditional hammam and spa ritual. Steam bath, scrub and a touch of magic from argan oil.
You will leave refreshed, literally!
In the evening 🌃 if you wish we can all enjoy a traditional "atay" (*mint tea) on a terrace with a panoramic view — in one of the city's cafes for our last gathering and to share stories from our trip.

Day 8
Saturday 23 May
DEPARTUREBreakfast, suitcases full and a heart full of pictures
If time permits, one last walk through the La Mamounia gardens before the airport - because some beauties are not easy to say goodbye to.
Back to Athens, with my mind still full of Morocco!!!! 🌍✨

The basic cost of participation in the excursion is €1500 per person.
IMPORTANT: Any bank charges are borne by the depositor.
WE ENCOURAGE ALL PARTICIPANTS TO CHOOSE THE COMBO OFFICE FOR ANY PAYMENT, saving money but also giving us the opportunity to get to know each other and discuss issues that will help in better preparing for the excursion.
The Combo office is open every Tuesday and Thursday 19:00-21:00

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation by February 17/26, full refund of the participation fee

In case of cancellation from February 18/26 to February 24/26, 30% of the total value of the trip will be retained for administrative and cancellation costs.

In case of cancellation from February 25/26 to March 04/26, 70% of the total value of the trip will be retained.

In case of cancellation from March 05/26 onwards, 100% of the total value of the trip will be retained.
With your registration and advance payment, it is mandatory to send us a color copy of your passport via email to comboride@gmail.com.
In the event of cancellation of the excursion by us, the organizers, the money paid by the participants will be refunded, without any further obligation on the part of the organizers.
In the event of postponement (postponement) of the excursion to a new date, money will be refunded to those who cannot or do not wish to participate on the new date.
