Two beautiful, relatively easy hikes… dives in lakes and waterfalls… and swimming in one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece!
A summer Combo Sunday full of nature, water, laughter, relaxation and exploration...
POLYLIMNIO
We are in Polylimnio and for soundtrack we have the sound of water.
We follow paths next to lakes and waterfalls, we cross small bridges and we discover one of the most beautiful hidden spots of the Peloponnese.
For those who dare, probably everyone… dives from rocks into the icy waters and a natural jacuzzi under the waterfall!
PALEOKASTRO OF NAVARINO
Before we end up in Voidokilia, we climb up to the imposing Paleokastro of Navarino.
The view from above is truly unique. Voidokilia forms before us like a natural painting, while in the background spreads the endless blue of the Ionian Sea.
On the way we also come across the famous Cave of Nestor, one of the most special spots in the area.
And then… we descend for a dip in the exotic waters of Voidokilia!
VOIDOKILIA
Voidokilia beach is perhaps the most famous beach in Messinia and one of the most beautiful in all of Greece! The name of the beach comes from Voufras, "where the oxen live". It is also mentioned in an ancient inscription as Vouvota - Voidokilia. The most obvious name, of course, may also come from the great curvature that the bay forms and the fact that it resembles the belly of an ox. The beach is as remote as it needs to be to remain "authentic"!

🏰 We climb to the historic Paleokastro of Navarino with panoramic views of Voidokilia, the Gialova lagoon and the Ionian Sea!
👣 We pass by the famous Cave of Nestor on one of the most cinematic routes in Messinia!

Relatively easy hiking route, on a path that approaches the lakes and waterfalls of Polylimnio. - the route has no difficult or technical passages and no special equipment is required, they are suitable for hikers with basic physical condition - a little further on, through more difficult and adventurous passages we will find other, more lakes... this is for those who feel more daring...

Before diving in Voidokilia, we climb to the impressive Navarino Paleokastro!
A short but magnificent climb with breathtaking views of the Gialova Lagoon, Voidokilia and the vast Ionian Sea.
We pass by the historic castle and the famous Nestor's Cave, in one of the most cinematic spots in Messinia.
And then… we descend for dives in the turquoise waters of Voidokilia!
