On Wednesday, July 1st, we invite you to a special evening hiking experience in Rafina, combining the beauty of the full moon with an easy coastal walk and a refreshing night swim.
A summer evening full of images, aromas, sea and good company. A little escape that will make you forget that you are so close to the city.
An experience that feels like an island, but is 40 minutes from Athens!
🍻 Moonlight Beach Session
After hiking and swimming, we will hang out on the beach under the light of the full moon. Beers, music, good company and the sea a few meters in front of us make up the ideal ending to a summer evening.

🥾 Hiking Description
Our route starts from Marikes beach towards the historic Rafina Fortress and follows the coastline towards Askitario, an impressive cape with a unique view of the Aegean. The landscape is wild and authentic. Rocks sculpted by the wind, low Mediterranean vegetation, the aromas of thyme and the open horizon compose an image that is strongly reminiscent of the Cyclades.
In Askitario is one of the most important prehistoric settlements of Attica, with a history that goes back thousands of years. As we stand on the cape, our gaze will be lost in the vast blue, the ships crossing the sea and the light of the full moon that will be reflected in the sea.
Our return will take place in the magical atmosphere of the night, until we reach Marikes. There, the most enjoyable part of the evening awaits us: a night swim in one of the most beautiful beaches of Eastern Attica. Those who want can enjoy the long sandy beach, while the more adventurous can discover the small hidden coves formed between the rocks.
